The Cherry Tree Explosion in Macon GA
There’s a very unique event that occurs every Spring in Macon, GA – a cherry tree explosion where over 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees go into full bloom for a couple of weeks. Virtually, every street, road, highway and neighborhood is lined with the beautiful blooms. It’s an amazing site. We were filming in Macon during the bloom and took a side trip into a few areas to share this very unique site.
