The Alamo
Today, the entire site is a shrine in honor of those who lost their lives. A wealth of exhibits, video presentation, and excellent museum store are on the site for visitors. Joan and I spent several hours touring the Shrine, the long barracks which includes a wide array of historical items from the early days of the mission and the gardens.
The Museum gift shop has items from post cards to the elaborate to remember the visit and help support continued restoration of this treasure.
The Alamo is a must see when you visit San Antonio.
