Skidaway Island State Park Nature Trails
On this tour I discover the beauty of weather worn trees, the marsh, birds and remnants of Georgia’s past with Civil War earthworks. In addition to birds, you may find other wildlife from deer, raccoons, crabs and more.
At the entrance of the park and at the entrance to one of the trails you also find an interpretive center with a wide range of historic artifacts escavated from around the island.
For more information about the campground see our campground post at www.escavated.com/skidaway-island-state-park-campground or visit the Georgia State’s office website at www.gastateparks.org/SkidawayIsland.
