Pecron E600LFP Portable Power Station
When it comes to outdoor adventures, whether it be RV travel, hiking, or even tailgating, one of the essential items to pack is a reliable power source. With the advancement of technology and our dependence on electronic devices, the need for a portable power station has become more important than ever. We have had numerous comments asking us to find a lower cost portable power station that could be used for overnight use to power devices such as a CPAP machine, and charge phones and tablets. Others have asked for a similar unit to power devices around the campground for long weekends or for supplemental power for long term RV travel such as lights, a TV or longer periods for a portable refrigerator. So we put the Pecron E600lfp Portable Power Station to the test.

Testing the Pecron E600lfp Portable Power Station
To answer the questions from our the comments we’ve received from our YouTube viewers, we wanted to see how the Pecron E600lfp Portable Power Station would perform powering a CPAP machine overnight and if it could also charge portable devices at the same time. We also created a second test to see how long the Pecron E600flp would power a portable refrigerator. Each test was performed with the Pecron charged to 100%.
The results were much better than expected. We didn’t have a CPAP machine and used an incandescent 60 Watt light bulb to simulate the test. We also plugged in a completely discharged iPad, a Kindle at 35% and laid a discharged Samsung cell phone on the wireless charging pad. After 9.5 hours of continuous use, the Pecron E600lfp had a remaining capacity of 11%.
For the second test we used a 12V DC Setpower 47 quart dual zone portable refrigerator with both zones set for 36 degrees. We pre-cooled the refrigerator before the test and set the unit inside the 5th wheel to test. We closed the 5th wheel without any air conditioning to simulate the inside of a car or truck with temperatures hoovering around 84 degrees throughout the test. We stopped the test after 24 hours with 56% of the Pecron E600lfp power remaining.
One other note about the Pecron E600lfp. Units we have tested in the past failed the refrigerator test if the power station does have a power draw over a set period of time. That was not the case with the Pecron. As you’ll see in the video below, when the portable refrigerator compressor wasn’t running it would create a 2 Watt draw from the Pecron E600lfp every minute to keep the power station from turning off.
Our Impression of the Pecron E600lfp Portable Power Station
We found the Pecron E600lfp Portable Power Station to be a reliable and versatile power solution that is perfect for supplemental needs that fit the capacity limits of the unit. With its long-lasting lithium-iron-phosphate battery, pure sine wave inverter, and multiple charging options, we found the unit provided a stable and clean power source for the electronic devices tested. We especially liked the lightweight and portable design, LCD display screen, and the range inputs and outputs making it a versatile and practical power solution for a wide range of RV travel needs.
