Old Mill – North Little Rock AR
The park features a two-story stone building designed to look like an abandoned nineteenth-century gristmill along with bridges and benches created by Mexican sculptor Dionicio Rodriguez known for his faux bois (fake wood) sculptures by crafting reinforced concrete to resemble petrified logs.
The park is beautiful and while we visited in late winter, it still had so much charm to capture our attention. We can imagine a trip in the Spring when all the trees and landscape is in full bloom. We understand this is a very popular wedding destination and saw a young couple on the Sunday we visited having engagement photos made.
When you visit Little Rock, take a few hours to visit the Old Mill and park. Enjoy the piece and quite along with the unusual faux bois structures.
