Historic Savannah GA

From River Street we drove into the area west of Bay Street to look at many of the historic homes, row houses and squares. Many of the homes viewed were constructed over 200 years ago. If you’re not familiar with the area, consider one of the trolley tours with an informative guide. We had to stop by the Mercer-Williams House, famously know for song writer Johnny Mercer and more recently from the movie “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”.
If you come to the Savannah, plan to spend a long weekend or better yet a week. So much to see and do. You’ll love the area and experience.
