Friends of Georgia State Parks
We are seeing a number of expansions and improvements occurring in many of the Georgia State Park campgrounds. A number have had new bath house facilities added, adding and expanding sites supporting big rig RVs and most recently, the addition of full service hook ups.
There are no two Georgia State Parks that are alike. Each has its own character and story to tell. In addition to the great campgrounds, we’ve discovered lakes, waterfall, mountain to marsh trails, homes of past presidents, historic beginning of our country, even gold. The opportunities of Georgia State Parks seem unending.
Friends of Georgia State Parks
We were recently contacted by the Friends of Georgia State Parks and provided with a discount for membership that we could share with our iloveRVlife viewers. This isn’t a sponsored offering and we receive no compensation from the membership, it’s just something we want to pass along to share our love of Georgia State Park. The Friends of Georgia State Parks mission is so very important:
“The mission of Friends is to partner with, promote and preserve Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites. Statewide, Friends works to raise awareness of the economic and intrinsic values of Georgia’s greatest treasures. We work with state and community leaders to help make sure that our natural and cultural resources are well protected, well maintained and well preserved for generations to come.”
We agree with their mission one hundred present. Click the link below for the various membership levels. Member ships are not limited to Georgia residents and members may join from any state or country. We’ve found with most of the memberships, with a few stays, breakeven in cost is quick and the added discounts and benefits continue for the remainder of the year. We hope you too will consider a Friends of Georgia State Parks Membership.
