CyCrown E-bike Florida Rails to Trail Ride

We had the recent opportunity to evaluate the CycFree CyCrown e-bike on the East Central Regional Rail Trail starting at New Smyrna, FL. We found the CyCrown e-bike to be well made, with a sleek design and offered exceptional performance for the 30 miles traveled.

CycFree CyCrown E-Bike Electric Motor
The CyCrown CycFree E-bike features a 500W electric motor that provides seamless power assistance while pedaling. The motor offers multiple levels of assistance, allowing riders to customize their riding experience according to their preferences and the terrain they are traversing. We found the e-bike was able to tackle steep hills, accelerating quickly in traffic, all while delivering a smooth and efficient ride.

One of the key advantages of the CyCrown CycFree Electric Bike is its impressive battery life. Equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, we were able travel significant distances on a single charge. We felt confident that we could take long trips without worrying about running out of power.
CycFree CyCrown E-Bike Construction
For RV travel we found the CyCrown CycFree E-bike’s lightweight and durable construction made it easy to maneuver and transport with the folding frame and handle bars. We were able easily store the e-bike in our 5th wheel main storage compartment.
CycFree CyCrown E-Bike Intelligent LCD Display
One of our favorite CyCrown CycFree E-bike features was the intelligent LCD display that provided essential information during our trip. The display showed data such as speed, distance traveled, battery level, and the selected power assistance mode. This feature allowed us to stay informed and make adjustments to optimize our riding experience.
CycFree Cycrown E-bike Features
The CycFree e-bike is equipped with a 48V 20AH removable battery. The 54.6V 3A fast charger makes it possible to fully charge the electric bike in 5-6 hours, and the maximum range with that charge is up to 75 miles.
- Equipped with a 500W 48V motor, strong and consistent power, with 5 power settings.
- Supports a pedal assist mode assist as you pedal the bicycle.
- Includes a fully electric mode with a twist the throttle to power up the bicycle.
- Operates as a standard pedal bicycle as found in a non-electric bicycle.
- Distances on a fully charged battery vary depending on the mode. Pure Electric: 42-53 miles, Pedal Assist: 53-75 miles, and Normal Bike: unlimited. The max speed is 20 MPH.
- Equipped with 20″ x 4” puncture-resistant tires, Shimano 7-speed, and dual shock absorbers.

Our e-bike journey began at the New Smyrna, FL trail head. As we started our ride on the trail, we were immediately greeted by a sense of tranquility and anticipation. The trail head serves as the gateway to an unforgettable adventure along the East Central Regional Rail Trail.
Natural Beauty
As we ventured further along the trail, we were captivated by the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The trail started with lush green forests, offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of the East Central Regional Rail Trail is the opportunity to encounter diverse wildlife. We saw a bird species and abundance of snapping turtles,
Picnic Spots
The East Central Regional Rail Trail offered numerous scenic picnic spots where we were able to rest, refuel, and enjoy a meal in nature’s beauty. What a treat to be surrounded by breathtaking views and the soothing sounds of the wilderness.

The East Central Regional Rail Trail had a smooth paved, well-maintained surface, perfect for e-bikes and cyclists of all levels.
