CeNita Vineyards
After a walk around the event location, we turned back and headed to the tasting room. There met by Serge, we talked about the vineyard, it’s roots originally as a dairy farm and the origins of the vines. Both domestic and international vines make up the mix and create a very interesting group of wines. Serge took us through each wine creating a very educational experience. While there, a tour group from Atlanta arrived to take a Wine 101 class. It was fun to watch Serge take the group through wines tasting and how wine making affects the tastes of the various varieties served.
From our visit, I was fond of the reds, walking away with several to add to our collection. Joan found a moderately sweet white. Unfortunately for our collection, I don’t think they’ll last very long.
CeNita Vineyards in Cleveland GA is another great example of North Georgia vineyards who take great pride in the area as well their wine. Joan and I plan to return soon.
