There is so much to see and do during the Fall season in North Georgia. One of my and Joan’s favorite things is to visit one of the many vineyards located in this region. Aside from the excellent wines offered, many have great outdoor venues along with a number of gifted entertainers from cover artists, americana, country, bluegrass, and more. And this is exactly what we found on this Saturday at 12 Spies Vineyards located in Raburn Gap, GA.

Our visit to 12 Spies Vineyards did not disappoint. We were welcomed by owners Mike and Shelley Brown as we enter their new Pavilion entertainment space. The pavilion and outside seating areas were full and for good reason – Mike is a masterful winemaker providing a wide variety of excellent wines, a welcoming atmosphere, along with weekend entertainment.

Joan and I were thrilled to find Monica Spears, one of our favorite local artists, singing many of our favorite songs. We brought lunch, selected a bottle of Mike’s excellent Rose, and spent this Saturday soaking in the mountain valley atmosphere of 12 Spies Vineyards.
